Good news for Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj fans of “Beauty and the Beat“! Their music video debut just broke the most views on VEVO (which YouTube partners with for music) in its first 24 hours being online with 10.6 million viewers. The record was originally set by Justin, who lost the title to One Direction a few weeks ago, however, he has rightfully won the title again. VEVO tweeted the good news to their followers, Justin and Nicki the good news to gain their attention. The video has been much awaited and talked about, thanks to the fans of both Nicki and Justin combined. As for how how VEVO broke the exciting news, here is their tweet.

Major kudos to both Justin and Nicki! This is a huge honor for them, even though they both are powerhouses in their own right by themselves. However, it is great that they were able to knock down another major popular act! It will certainly be interesting to see what the future singles of One Direction do to the title, since I doubt “Live While We’re Young” will be their only record breaking single. That just seems to be impossible for them, sort of like how it is impossible for Justin to stay knocked off the pedestal for a long time.
Do you love the video for “Beauty and the Beat”? I think a lot of people do since it sort of puts Justin back on the map for R&B like he wants. However, it is also a great example of just how his talent can range Of course the same is for his leading lady on the track, Nicki. They both really should work together more if you ask me. After seeing just how well this one single has turned out for them since the video premiere, it is hard to see how their labels wouldn’t want them to work together. It seems like they have a lot of promise for a long partnership if they play it right and don’t overdo it. It could also be just what they both need so they can beat One Direction together.
