As excitement builds toward Lady Gaga‘s appearance on American Horror Story: Hotel, including the surfacing of on-set photos and video from Los Angeles, a new photo shoot for Entertainment Weekly will serve to majorly fan the flames.

Photographed by Michael Avedon, the series of snaps captures a wide range of looks for Gaga and her countesss character, and she has shared a number of the photos on Twitter in the last couple days. For the cover, we get Gaga with blood smeared on her neck, wearing a glove that could double as a claw.
Next we get Gaga dressed in formal wear, undoubtedly in her disguise as a functional member of society.
Gaga also shared a photo of her with co-star Matt Bomer, looking to be in some form of negotiation or romantic encounter.
In maybe the creepiest of the photos, we find Gaga with blood on her face and an eerie smile.
This photo sees Gaga getting changed, revealing a bit of the raw elements behind the character.
The star of this photo is as much the awesome bed as it is Lady Gaga.
This next photo has deservedly been getting the most attention, as it reveals Gaga to have children on American Horror Story. The image is frightening, with the kids appearing to be drinking blood out of bottles.
And lastly we have Gaga in a robe, with the caption “I need a drink.” We all need a drink after this wild photo shoot.
