Kim Richards is reportedly back in rehab, and many are hoping that she stays in long enough to get the help that she truly needs. According to the National Enquirer, Richards has checked into a facility in Orange County where she is undergoing treatment for alcohol abuse.
This news comes several days after Kim reportedly jetted out of a facility following her family's decision to get a 5150 hold on her.
"They were at the end of their rope trying to get her help and decided to force her to get it," said a source. Although Kim Richards left rehab after just 72 hours (the mandatory amount of time when someone is admitted on an involuntary psychiatric hold), sources say that she went back voluntarily.
"Kim finally realized that she needed help and is truly committed to getting it. She voluntarily checked into an inpatient facility in Orange County. The family has been very supportive of this move," the source added.
According to Radar Online, Kim Richards left rehab on Monday, Aug. 24. Kim reportedly walked out of the facility claiming that she had been "cured." Some say that Kim's whereabouts after she fled were unknown, but she did take a moment to post to social media. She posted a baby photo of her daughter on Instagram, and wished her a happy birthday. Since then, Kim has been silent on social media, and no one has seen her in public.
It sounds like Kim decided to re-enter rehab, as if she really realized that she really needs to give this a fair go.
"Kim hit rock bottom and is finally ready to do the work needed to get her life back on track," an insider told the National Enquirer.
