Celebrity news tells us USHER‘s ex-wife, TAMEKA FOSTER, has filed for temporary custody of their sons after one of them suffered a life-threatening pool accident in Atlanta early this week.
Well, we kind of expected that, didn’t we?
Usher may have won primary custody of his kids with estranged ex-wife and baby momma, Tameka Foster, last year, but in light of young Usher Raymond V’s accident on Monday (he nearly drowned after getting his hand stuck in a swimming pool drain), it just might change.
According to TMZ, Foster has filed legal documents on Tuesday asking that she get temporary custody of both their sons, claiming Usher left their 5-year-old son “unsupervised” in the swimming pool and that the singer’s aunt, who was supervising the little boy at the time, is not fit for the job.
She adds that Usher delegates the childcare duties to others considering he’s out of town majority of the time and that he had fired every caregiver who was present when he was awarded primary custody, so the replacements may not be fit for the job either.
The site concludes that Tameka wants “decision-making power over the children’s education, healthcare, religion and extracurricular activities.”
An emergency hearing has been set for Friday at 2pm.
