Wafty arm dance ahoy
She'd previously admitted she was *pretty* scared about going on the road with her new album, what with 'The Scene' not being there to back her up anymore and stuff, but last night Selena Gomez shrugged off the nerves, shaked off any evidence of haters and took to the stage on the first night of her Stars Dance tour in Vancouver, Canada. Hoorah.
Yup - our fave wafty-wristed one hit the Rogers Arena in on-again/off-again boyfriend Justin Bieber's home country to perform loads of tracks from her new album and treat fans to a few classics. Love You Like a Love Song, anybody? OH GO ON THEN. A cover of Rihanna's Birthday Cake? YES PLEASE.
Fresh from her appearance at the Teen Choice Awards the other night, Selena performed for gazillions (read: a few thousand) fans in loads of typically-UHMAZING outfits - including a glitzy gold number that looked like something off the set of a weird Gladiator-meets-Aladdin movie.
And the whole thing left one of our fave former Disney gals a bit excitable, with her tweeting: "Vancouver!! We had FUN! Can’t thank y’all enough for an AMAZING 1st show!!” [sic].You're rivalling Niall Horan with the exclamation marks there, babes.
