Justin Bieber has reportedly been cleared of hit-and-run accusations over an alleged incident from last month.


The ‘Beauty And A Beat’ singer was accused by a paparazzi photographer of hitting him with his Ferrari as he left a venue in West Hollywood with pal Lil Twist.


It looked unlikely that Biebs would be punished for the ‘incident’ when the Los Angeles Police Department said he was not at fault, and passed the case along to the Los Angeles County District Attorney.


And now, according to TMZ, the prosecutors have officially declared that due to “insufficient evidence to prove that Bieber knowingly left the scene of a collision in which someone was injured”, the matter will not be taken any further.


At the time of the accusations, Bieber apparently told police that he had no idea he had hit anybody.


Bieber and the paps have had a fraught relationship in 2013 so far, demonstrated by his near-brawl with one when he visited London for his Believe tour back in March.


He’s also been in a lot of trouble for his driving – and has been accused on numerous occasions of causing disruption by speeding around his sleepy neighbourhood.


But for now, he seems to be in the clear.
