James Blunt Performs Beautiful Miss America Song Inspired By ...

James Blunt and his melodic mouth are at it again!

This time, he's singing the heck out of a song inspired by the tragic death of diva legend Whitney Houston, entitled Miss America!

The lovely and chilling lyrics send a beautiful message of Whitney's tragic downward spiral and celebrity culture in general:

"And I feel as if I know you through the bars of a song.

Always surrounded but alone.

But no goodbyes, you’ll always be Miss America.

We watched you fly, but nothing’s free Miss America.

And as you fall apart, we just call it art.

Take a listen to the AH-mazing tribute (above) and grab a box of tissues, because it's a total tear-jerker!

Jame's new album, Moon Landing, will be out November 5th!
