Kevin Spacey has once again stopped a live performance dead in its tracks to confront his nemesis- the cell phone.

The American Beauty star was celebrating his ten-year tenure as artistic director of the Old Vic in London by performing in the new play Clarence Darrow.

Unfortunately, the performance was nearly ruined when an audience member's cell phone started ringing!

After a couple rings, Kevin stayed in character but turned and directly addressed the culprit- it was like his own private House Of Cards monologue! He reportedly said:

"If you don't answer that, I will."

This isn't the first time Kevin has stopped a play to address the annoyance; he famously stayed in character as Richard III to lay the smack down on audience members with cell phones in 2011.

We're guessing the more even-tempered Darrow let this one off a little lighter than the Shakespearean villain who murdered his way to the throne! LOLz!
