A 60 page report of the findings surrounding enquiries into the death of baby Simeon Cottle was handed to Attorney General, Anand Ramlogan today.
The child’s head was reportedly cut during a C section and died at the Mt. Hope Women’s Hospital, Mt. Hope on Saturday 1st March 2014.
A doctor was suspended pending the outcome of the probe.
The report was handed over by the chairman of the committee, retired Justice Mustapha Ibrahim at the Attorney General’s Conference room, Cabildo Chambers, St. Vincent Street, Port of Spain.
On delivering the report the retired Judge said the investigation was not an easy task.

In receiving the report the Attorney General thanked the committee for their dedication and said he will peruse the document before sending copies to the relevant stakeholders.

Mr Ramlogan also sought to assure the public that the matter will not be sidelined by the government and promised to apprise the public of the findings of the report.
