Nothing says I love you, Mom! Like an ecard that has an adorable baby that just ate a green marker on it. Ok, breakfast in bed or, at the very least, picking up your own dirty socks from the living room floor will be an even better step in the right direction, but cards are always good.
‘Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day’ stars the gorgeous Jennifer Garner and the fantastically funny, Steve Carell. The tale, borrowed from Judith Viorst, explores a blip in the life of as seemingly perfect family.
Alexander, (Ed Oxenbould), gets it. Life is rarely “perfect” for him. He attempts to voice his concerns to his older brother, portrayed by Dylan Minnette, but he is overshadowed by his girlfriend, played by Bella Thorne. He is constantly battling bad days, but his borderline Stepford family experiences what might possibly be the worst day of their lives. There are fires, alligators, kangaroo chases, car crashes and pirate blouses galore. Guess who will be there to give them all the dose of reality they need…Alexander.
What will make me tune in – Donald Glover makes an appearance in the cast lineup! The Hollywood version of the tale has been jazzed up, but the premise seems to remain intact. The bad days make you appreciate the good ones.
‘Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day‘ hits theaters on October 10th. BUT, don’t forget Mother’s Day on May 11th!
