Cheer up love, might never happen.
Seeing as they’re rather good celeb pals, it was only a matter of time before Miley Cyrus and high-end designer Marc Jacobs joined forces for a seriously cool campaign. Milez is the new face of Jacobs by Marc Jacobs for Marc by Marc Jacobs in collaboration with Marc Jacobs for Marc by Marc Jacobs, (you get the idea...) and is fronting the upcoming SS14 campaign.
While we’d be pretty chuffed to be the muse for old Marcy Marc, Miley looks less than impressed in the brand new images and a bit like someone just stole her sandwich, but we’re guessing that that’s all part of the FASHION BABY.
Marc Jacobs’ spring 2014 show is already set to star tons of celebrity modelling faces including Sky Ferreira, Charlotte Free and George May Jagger, so people have been speculating for a while that there’d be a big star fronting the whole thang.
La Cyrus is perfect for the job, as she and Marc have been besties for a while now, with her wearing tons of designs to swanky events, including the punky fishnet dress she sported for the Met Gala last year.
Miley’s shots for the fashion house are so far all giving off a bit of a dark and mysterious vibe, set on a sandy beach that looks a bit like something you might spot in a horror movie.
She looks pretty increds though, rocking burgundy shorts with an embellished navy jacket and black and white trainers, and is giving us a bit of a flash of her nautical wrist tattoo. Cheekay.
Her hair is looking rather fine, fresh and fabulous in a textured spikey style with a bit of a beachy look to it, and her makeup is striking and contoured with defined cheekbones, coral lips and shadowed smokey eyes.
And we can’t really chat about these pictures without mentioning that POUT. Crikey moses, cheer up love, you’re quite rich and famous y’know. Things COULD BE WORSE.
