Don't ban kids from Alinea because of one cranky, probably teething baby, Grant. I promise you don't want to miss seeing a precocious kindergartner's face when you smash that chocolate ball in front of her.

This incident has made us realize that going to prison would suck if we could only eat "mechanically separated chicken products" all day long.

In a lengthy Facebook post entitled "We Eat Meat: Notes on Humanely Raised, Ethically Slaughtered Heritage Breed Animals," the team behind Publican Quality Meats addressed PETA's choice to set up a billboard for their Go Vegan campaign, which depicts a suckling pig with the words "You can live without those ribs. I can't" across the street from the shop.

Uhhh, consider yourselves burned, citizens of the United States?

We’re relieved, if for no other reason than that future kindergartner wowed by the chocolate ball who we went to bat for yesterday. Good Morning America hauled cameras out to Chicago for a segment today on Grant Achatz’s Alinea Baby-gate, and while no one reminded George Stephanopoulos how to pronounce the name of the restaurant before the package aired, it did reveal this important perspective on the incident:
“Chef Achatz does think children should experience fine dining at an early age. He just hasn’t decided where to draw the line.”
Fair enough. Check out the segment below.
