If Taylor Swift was struggling to find a lad to write some angry songs about for the new album, it sounds like her problems have all been solved. Douglas Booth might be dreamy but it sounds like he DEFINITELY deserves to transformed into some revenge-style lyrics, as he hasn’t been treating her too well.
Although we were hoping that Swizzlestick and Boothy might be a blossoming Love Story (baby just saaaay yes), it sounds like Douglas definitely has other ideas, as he’s apparently given all her advances ‘the cold shoulder’. UGH, BOYS.
NY Daily News has reported that while Taylor was pretty persistent in her efforts to bag Boothy and his gorgeous beardy face, he wasn’t so keen on getting romantically involved with her, when she made a few advances at a Hollywood party in November.
An insider revealed: “Taylor kept on making an effort to flirt with Douglas, but he gave her the cold shoulder and was extremely dismissive towards her.”
“She would get a drink and then approach him; she would chat with Hailee Steinfeld and then re-approach him; she was even trying to chat him up near the flowers on display. It was all very funny for those of us watching.”
MEOW, alright mardy pants. Anyone else thinking that this ‘inside source’ might have been a Harry girl who isn't quite over the Haylor days yet?
The rather bitchy source continued: “Taylor and Hailee were chatting about Douglas while they all touched up their makeup. Taylor was whining and complaining about his aloofness toward her. She looked like an animal circling its prey when she tried to get his attention.”
OH JEEZ. We love a joke about Taylor Swift chasing boys as much as the next schmuck, but this is all just a bit mean really. We have a feeling that Swizzlestick is much too awesome to be 'whining and complaining'. Plus she was probably more interested in the canopés, if she's anything like us.
