To say that song wasn’t annoying would be a lie. To say that song wasn’t the most hated song of 2010 would also be a lie. Corny, mainstream, gushy lyrics.. ew. Corny, mainstream, gushy lyrics coming out of the mouth of a baby faced 16 year old boy.. double ew.
But let’s be real, it’s been nearly 4 years since the notorious debut of “Baby”.
Justin Bieber is nearly 4 years older.
4 years is a lot for a teenager. The distance between a boy and a man can be 4 years. The beliebers are all nearly 4 years older. Those prepubescent, annoying, teen-girl borderline savage fanatic beliebers are now likely young women.
After 4 years we will likely never be met with a force as evil and cringe-worthy as “Baby” from the Biebs, he and his music have evolved.
Here’s why you shouldn’t hate Justin Bieber:
He’s unbelievably talented.
Behind the mainstream mist and smoke of stardom the music industry cloaks artists in there is occasional talent, and when there is it’s usually immense talent.
How many of you can say you play an instrument well?
Of those who answered yes, how many of you could play since the age of 3?
If you answered yes, can you say you also play 2 other instruments.. just as well.. and sing.. and dance.. all just as well?

‘Society loves the underdog. Justin Bieber is an underdog. So society love Justin Bieber.’ logic would argue, but no, for some reason Justin Bieber is an exception.
If being born to a 17 year old unwed girl in a small city and raised in an even smaller city in low income housing by a single mother doesn’t make you an underdog I don’t know what does.
He’s probably a lot younger than you.
Unless you’re a high-schooler mad at him because your crush is obsessed with him you’re basically hating on a little kid.
