A$AP Rocky at Made In American 2013 (Radio.com)
For his latest music video, Harlem rapper A$AP Rocky has recruited actor Michael K. Williams (best known for his work on HBO series The Wire and Boardwalk Empire) and model Joan Smalls to star in the cinematic clip for his latest single, “Phoenix.”
The glossy and dramatic music video is a highly stylized affair that depicts Williams and Smalls as a couple embroiled in an epic, house-destroying battle interspersed with shots of Rocky rapping the minimal and moody track in a fashionable wide-brimmed hat and red sweater.
