It's A Girl!
Congratulations are in order for Paul Pauly D DelVecchio — the one-time reality TV star on MTV‘s Jersey Shore turned superstar DJ — because today we learn that he is the proud father of a baby daughter! As it turns out, Pauly D had intimate relations with a woman in Las Vegas, NV last year that resulted in an unplanned pregnancy. The baby was born earlier this year and it has been confirmed that Pauly D is the babydaddy. So … congrats?!
Pauly D’s bloodline will live on, because he has a little girl crawling around — near the Jersey Shore … TMZ has learned. Here’s what we know … The mother is 26, born in Jersey but she met Pauly in Vegas last year. We’re told they hooked up while he was DJing in Sin City. The baby is a few months old, living with her mom. The mom has filed court docs in New Jersey to formally establish paternity, but we’ve learned Pauly has already taken a DNA test and he’s the dad. Pauly tells TMZ, “I’m proud I’m a father. I am excited to embark on this new part of my life.”
Altho the baby’s birth wasn’t intentional (it sounds), I’m happy to hear that Pauly has stepped up as a proud father and seems willing to do the right thing where his daughter is concerned. Considering how DTF Pauly D says he is, I’m actually surprised it took this long for a baby to materialize. Hopefully, from here on out, Pauly D will take better care when he’s lovin’ up the ladies. And, who knows … maybe in the future, MTV will put Pauly D‘s daughter and Nicole Snooki Polizzi‘s son in a beach house on the Jersey Shore for a sequel series.
