KATE Middleton and Prince William plan to take parenting cues from the late, great Princess Diana!
The pair — who are expecting their first child in the next few weeks — plan to mimic the parenting style of William’s beloved mother.
Diana’s low-key parenting method had great impact on William and Prince Harry, according to Princess Margaret‘s official biographer Christopher Warwick, Kate and William would love to be able to do the same.
“William and Harry were very, very fortunate with Diana as a mother because her ideas were so different to the previous generation,” Christopher said, according to Arabia MSN News.
“The importance of this to her two sons have been enormous. William will want this for his children.”
Like Diana, Kate didn’t grow up as royalty, so Christopher said she would love to make her child’s life similar to hers.
“[Kate's] childhood was pretty ordinary,” he said. “She won’t want her baby to be the subject of rules and protocol before they need to be.”
Meanwhile, William will take Kate to hospital when she goes into labor.
The British royal will make sure his wife delivers their baby safely.
“It’s all being kept top secret until she arrives safely in the private Lindo Wing of St. Mary’s hospital in Paddington, West London,” a source said.
“Only Scotland Yard will be notified, so they can put up barriers for the Duchess’s arrival to ensure er privacy.
“The family won’t want any sneaky photos of Kate looking in discomfort.
“There’s no back-up bedside buddy. Will is adamant he’ll be there like his father Prince Charles was at his birth, so there’s no contingency plan. All of Kate’s hopes are pinned on William.”
