Can you believe this shizz?
Apparently, singer-songwriter-absolute sweetheart Ed Sheeran was told by record labels before he got made it big that he was "too chubby and ginger" to be signed.
Say Sing WHAA? Ed, you can sign anything of ours any day of the week!! Really. Here's what he had to say in a recent interview:
"Every single label I had gone to at the time had told me this song wasn't a hit, this song wouldn't work, and the fact that I was slightly chubby and ginger wasn't a good 'marketing tool' for them."
First off, Ed, ya look great! There's a reason THE Ron Weasley Rupert Grint would be in YOUR music video, or you're on tour with THE Taylor Swift. It's because you're THE bomb. THE end of discussion.
Ed did have some super inspirational advice though:
"Being an individual makes you stand out from the crowd."
Too true.
For just a lad of 22, Ed has some John Lennon-levels of wisdom. Just please, don't start dating Yoko.
