OMAHA (KPTM) – Twelve-year-old Hannah Copley, suffering from a rare organ disease, and her mom are walking on cloud nine after getting an unexpected gift this week.
Somebody from Big Brothers, Big Sisters gave the pair tickets to this weekend’s Justin Bieber concert at the Centurylink Center. It’s a dream come true for Copley whose favorite singer is Bieber and has had to endure so much since a young age.
“On a scale of one to ten I give Bieber a ten-and-a-half,” said Copley with a big smile on her face.
Beckie Copley, Hannah’s mom, got word of the surprise on Tuesday when it all started with a simple phone call from Hannah’s big sister.
“She’s like ‘you’re not on speaker phone, right? I need to talk to you.’ It was like a big secret,” said Beckie Copley.
It’s still unclear who exactly gave away the tickets, but that doesn’t matter to the Copleys. What does matter is that come this Saturday they’ll be able to experience something together as mother and daughter.
“It means the world to us,” said Beckie Copley.
“Whoever gave us the tickets is awesome,” added Hannah Copley.
