It sounds like The Saturdays could be struggling to keep their LA TV gig, as ratings for Chasing The Saturdays have plummeted as low as 100,000.

Una admitted that the reason might be connected with the honesty of the show. “We’ve all been very homesick at times and saying that on screen might not have gone down too positively in the States,” she told the Daily Star.

An insider at E! commented that the channel would look for alternatives first. “The show hasn’t been getting as good a rating as was hoped, so discussions will go ahead to see how they can be improved.

“The channel has a great relationship with the girls and are keen to work with them to move forward.”

They added “producers will be meeting up with the girls to see what their plans are for the rest of the year and how a possible second series would shape up.”

The girls could be about to achieve their first ever UK number 1 with their 14th single, What About Us – but it is thought that they are determined to achieve Stateside success. According to rumours the girls are hoping that Justin Bieber’s manager Scooter Braun will offer them a support slot on the final part of Justin’s Believe tour.

However, Una Healey is juggling her role in the band with her role as mother to baby Aoife Belle, and bandmate Rochelle is set to give birth very soon. Will the girls make everything work, or do you think it would be hard for them to focus on a second series when they have other commitments. Tell us what you think!
