She's not impressed by the #cut4bieber Twitter trend
Twitter users were pretty shocked to see a group of Justin Bieber fans promoting some gruesome self-harm images on the site this week and Miley Cyrus has spoken about her concern over the trend, that was apparently intended as a protest to photos that are alleged to show the Biebs smoking weed.
After a group of Twitter users began to trend #cut4bieber earlier in the week, the hashtag became linked to a select group of Bieber fans uploading shocking images of self-harm.
Noticing the trend, Miley didn't seem too impressed and as a friend of the Biebs, decided to have her say on the matter.
"#cut4bieber? Cutting is NOT something to joke about," she tweeted. "There are people who are actually suffering from self-harm, this is so disrespectful." [sic]
"If people are really saying they are gonna cut themselves cuz Justin Bieber could've smoked some weed the world really is coming to an end," she continued.
"I really hope this cutting shit is just a bunch of punk ass haters that have nothing better to do & no one out there harming themselves.
She added: "If you are... seek help."
Bearing in mind it was a select group of the Biebs' fans involved, Miley didn't want to offend devoted Beliebers who weren't, and said: "I'm glad to know my friend has such dope fans."
