Justin Bieber was too needy for Selena Gomez.
The young stars recently called time on their on-off relationship and friends believe Justin’s immaturity played a big part in their split.
“Justin is super needy and can be a big baby around Selena,” a source told RadarOnline.
“It’s hard for him to make real friends because he likes the temporary attention of strangers, but didn’t see how it hurt Selena.
“Selena didn’t feel Justin was respectful of their relationship. She was constantly catching him in positions with other girls that would make her uncomfortable. She would get super jealous.”
It is also believed Selena’s parents disapprove of her relationship with the Canadian popstar.
She has reportedly been warned off getting back together with Justin by her parents, who are worried the singer is a “bad influence”.
Selena’s mother Mandy Cornett and stepfather Brian Teefey advised Selena to leave her New Year’s vacation with Justin early after a huge argument between the two singers.
“Her parents think that he is a bad influence on her. Selena is done with him,” a source told Us Weekly.
However, Justin, 18, is hoping to put the split behind him by jetting off on a holiday to Las Vegas or Mexico for the full Spring Break experience, with One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles.
Bodyguard sues for assault
Meanwhile, a former bodyguard of Justin’s is suing him for assault.
The Beauty And A Beat hitmaker has been accused of punching Moshe Benabou, an ex-member of the Israeli army, multiple times during an argument about a member of Justin’s entourage.
The bodyguard, who says he worked for the singer from March 2011 to October 2012, is asking for unspecified damages for assault and over $US420,000 in alleged unpaid overtime.
Sources close to Justin told gossip website TMZ.com, he is merely a “disgruntled employee looking for money” and called the assault claims “absurd”.
They also insisted he was fired after lying about previously working for Justin Timberlake.
