Beyonce's HBO Doc
Beyonce Knowles gets up close and personal in the new teaser-trailer for her much-anticipated documentary, set to air next year on HBO.
In the video footage, released Monday, fans get a quick look at what life is like for the Grammy-winning superstar, both on and off the stage. Shots include Knowles hugging her husband Jay-Z; Knowles performing at multiple concerts across the globe; and a super-brief glimpse of her baby bump. (Knowles gave birth to daughter Blue Ivy in January.)
“I always battled with how much do I reveal about myself?” Knowles says in a voiceover.
“If I’m scared, be scared. Allow it. Release it.”
The as-yet untitled documentary airs Feb. 16, 2013.
Prior to the documentary’s airing, Knowles — who has shared many intimate portraits this year on her Tumblr — will perform at the coveted Super Bowl Halftime Show, on Feb. 3 from New Orleans.
