The latest news restores hope in many Jelena fans that Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are back together for the long run, but their past breakup brings a serious question to mind for the popular singers and their fans: What led to the breakup in the first place?
Many sources report this week that the original problem was none other than the “Boyfriend” singer himself, as E! News reveals from its sources that “Justin has a wandering eye.” Although Selena Gomez is indeed beautiful with a strong career of her own, the site rightfully notes that with millions of female fans and Beliebers around the world (not to mention even Victoria’s Secret models saying they “love” Justin Bieber) it can be hard to not “look” at all those followers, on Twitter or not.
Yet in a relationship the issue of trust is important, and though there have been rumors of the Biebs cheating in the past, it’s Justin Bieber himself who was said to be reaching out to Selena Gomez after the initial breakup. Even after their observed fight at dinner last Friday, Justin Bieber was said to want to “make things right … and followed Selena home.”

What is known now, however, is that both Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber are on speaking terms once again, and Fox News asserts this Thursday that the two are back together as a couple who want to work on things.
