The world’s most talked about K-pop artist, Psy, will be performing in Singapore on Saturday.
He will perform his global hit Gangnam Style, at a free public showcase at Marina Bay Sands’ Event Plaza.
Students from Marina Bay Sands designated charity, O School, a performing arts centre for youth, will also participate in the free public performance, which is scheduled to last one hour.
The infectious K-pop song in which Psy raps in Korean and dances in the style of person riding a horse has become a pop culture phenomenon.
On Nov 24, his YouTube video became the most watched YouTube video of all time, surpassing Justin Bieber’s Baby. It has notched up more than 823 million views since it was first posted on the site in July, Bieber’s Baby has more than 805 million views.
Psy, 34, is now signed to label Schoolboy Records, which also manages Bieber.
