Holden gives baby musical legacy

Pride of Britain Awards - London

Amanda Holden has said she’s sure her baby daughter is going to be musical – because she was pregnant with her while she was performing in Shrek.

The 41-year-old had a baby bump when she played Princess Fiona in Shrek The Musical.

She said: “I loved every second of Shrek. It’s got amazing memories for me because I was pregnant through most of it.

“I’m sure that Holly’s going to be a stage baby because of it. She loves music, and I’m sure that’s because she was in my tummy for most of it.”

Amanda, who gave birth to Holly earlier this year, has been penning her autobiography.

She said: “I thought to myself, ‘There’s already one stupid book about me out there, and I don’t want someone else to come up with the idea. I would rather do it myself’.”

:: Amanda Holden is supporting the Pampers Picture A Better Future campaign, which backs Unicef in the fight against maternal and newborn tetanus.
