Justin Bieber's Unneeded Publicity Stunt

14:59….

Little girls threw the internet into a tizzy when Justin Bieber revealed on his Twitter that his laptop had been stolen, which held some highly private things.

A random Twitter user by the name of gexwy started it all by taunting the Biebs with things like:

  • good job with the password protected @justinbieber. weak

  • and I’m looking at the rest now. all of it

  • wanna see the rest of the footage from his camera.

“sucks when u take personal footage and people dont respect your privacy”, the Canadian superstar expressed on the 140-character site.

Of course, loads of Beliebers went crazy over what could be a myriad of things: a sex tape, a nude photo or two or some other embarrassing piece of info.

So what was it? Nothing of importance.

Actually, it was all a stunt to lead up to the release of his new video, “Beauty And A Beat” featuring Nicki Minaj.

When you’re the biggest star in the world, is something this dumb really needed to push forth a new music video?

Here’s the thing: I actually liked this song before he pulled this… now, not so much.

Check out the clip above.
