Beliebers, deep breaths: your idol may have another scandal on his hands.
After Justin Bieber tweeted about personal possessions — including his computer and camera — stolen at his concerts earlier this week, the self-proclaimed thief is threatening to release reportedly embarrassing footage of the pop superstar.
“Good job with the password protected @justinbieber. weak,” gexwy tweeted Wednesday, just after Bieber lamented the loss of his belongings that were taken from his tour manager’s office at the Tacoma Dome in Washington, where he hit the stage earlier this week.
Then, as if trying to back up Bieber’s cyberbullying claims, the unknown user shared two YouTube links of clips featuring Bieber.
One shows the singer — looking much younger with his formerly-famous floppy locks — peering through a window at crowds of cheering Beliebers, and the other seemingly more recent video reveals Bieber pulling a backstage prank on a member of his team. After sharing the links, gexwy tweeted, “and I’m looking at the rest now. all of it.”
But Bieber shot back at his bully, tweeting to his 29 million followers: “@gexwy no matter what you have and what you post tomorrow i know my fans wont leave me. screw it. #toostrong”
Alleging that he and Bieber communicated via direct messages, gexwy said, “@justinbieber i got your stupid dms. i dont think so. gonna show the world. TOMORROW!” And then he seemingly took aim at his detractors: “the rest of u can just shutup. u have no idea what i have and when u see tomorrow u will feel different.”
The threats and taunts come just after Bieber starred in an anti-cyberbullying video. The PSA was produced by the Nassau County District Attorney’s office as part of a plea agreement that settled a legal dispute involving members of Bieber’s management team. “I was picked on,” Bieber admits in the 11-minute clip. “It’s a tough feeling but at the end of the day you can get through it. There’s always someone who can be there…. The web should be used to inspire others, not spread hate or to hurt others.”
