Justin Bieber recorded "Bigger" for his debut album, My World, back in 2009. However, the Canadian teen singer did not know that the song was about a break-up between two men. This was confirmed just yesterday after the writer of the song recently came out.
Even though the lyrics barely talk about homosexuality, there are a few lines that now make more sense in the "gay" sense such as, "now the bully's in the school yard, can take a hug but no kiss from us" and "we ain't pushovers, no more baby, cause we're big enough to stand in the picture."
The writer is 24-year old, Frank Ocean, who recently came out to mixed reactions by the world. It was a bit shocking to many since you usually don't get something like this from a rapper. However, his outing, will definitely change the way people look at rappers, and we hope it is in a good way.
But isn't it kind of interesting to see that he wrote a song for Bieber about a gay split? We did laugh a bit when we first learned about it!
