How about a good old fashioned Jackson update? Our wild Crack Jax is growing and learning so much every single day! Jax is still mostly staying at home with the hubby and I during the week. I'm still working three days a week and hubby's schedule rotates so he's off during the week a lot. He goes to his sitter's about once a week or 3-4 times during the month. Our arrangement is working out beautifully!
Jackson is 2 1/2 years old now, weighs about 26-27 pounds and is pushing 39-40 inches tall!
He is one tall and skinny boy!
He loves watching Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and any Disney movies. Toy Story, Finding Nemo and The Buddies movies are his favorites. Jackson spends his days playing with his blocks, Batman action figures, toy trucks and lounging in his pool outside.
Jackson's favorite foods are: goldfish, dinosaur chicken nuggets, chocolate milk, any kind of oranges, blueberries, strawberries or bananas, steamed broccoli, baked beans and cheese.
We're working halfheartedly on potty training. We're in no big rush.
Jackson is still sleeping through the night like a champ. We still stick to his bath, sippy cup of milk, read some stories, brush his teeth, prayers, bedtime routine. He's asleep by 8:00pm every night and sleeps until 7:00am, usually.
Life is not always bubbles and sunshine. We have plenty of 2 year old tantrums, meltdowns in the grocery stores and bad days. His awesomeness makes up for it though.
Jackson talks up a storm and says new words and phrases daily. He also repeats EVERYTHING we say.
He can count, do puzzles like a champ and we're working on his colors and shapes. He loves music and his favorite song is: "Baby" by Justin Bieber. He can sing the whole chorus. Oh the things we do for our kids :).
Jackson adores his family! He talks about his Nana, Uncle Riley, Papa & Lulu constantly. He has them all wrapped around his little fingers.
Life is good with Jax and we are so blessed!
