Justin Bieber will make an 11-year-old fan's dream come true when he meets her in Portland this fall.

Megan Ham of Vancouver, Washington suffers from Lissencephaly, an extremely rare neurological disorder that has left her unable to walk or talk, and causes her to have as many as 70 seizures a day.

But amazingly, the young girl seems to improve whenever she listens to Bieber's music — so much so that her wheelchair is equipped to play Bieber's songs with the flick of a switch.

Ham's teacher tells local TV station KPTV that the largely-expressionless fifth-grader smiles and kicks her feet when the songs come on, adding, "It really helps her to get through the day. It keeps her happy and it keeps her comfortable. "

Doctors have been unable to explain why Bieber's music affects her so, but the development "has really opened up a lot of doors" in regards to what may be possible in the future, says her dad.

Not surprisingly, the singer was incredibly touched by Ham's story.

Bieber wrote on Twitter early Wednesday, "MEGAN you stay strong for me and I'm gonna make sure we meet when i come to Portland. Love you and Thank You :)."

The singer is scheduled to perform at the city's Rose Garden venue on October 8.

Of course, this won't the first time Bieber has taken the time to meet with some extra-special fans.
