You saw it first on Chris Brown at the 2011 BET Awards, and yesterday in London young Justin Bieber covered his precious mug with Marco Marco's Swarovski skull mask. It's like the wild west, but with swag (yes, I did just type that).
Retailing at $550, the mask is made out of jet and crystal color Swarovski stones on a neoprene base. It took over 500 crystals and 30 hours to embellish by hand.
Marco Marco told SOCIALITE LIFE that he didn't know anything about Bieber wearing his eccentric piece, but was excited nonetheless. Why, pray tell, did Marco Marco create such a mask? "I wanted to make something with rhinestones that a guy could wear. Something that would be stage worthy but tough," he told us.
"I had no idea Justin had one, so seeing him in it was exciting," Marco added. "I've been wanting to make something custom for him, so this will tie me over til I get to work with him," Marco said jokingly.
