'The Dark Knight Rises' New MTV Footage – VIDEO Jun 4th 2012, 16:20 After viewing a montage of Christopher Nolan's work on the first two installments of Batman, we were treated to a clip of new footage from 'The Dark Knight Rises' at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards While a trailer for 'The Perks of Being a Wallflower' also ran, Bale's breakdown stole the attention for the show. [...] The MTV Movie Awards took place this weekend and with it we got a few peeks at anticipated films. 'The Dark Knight' was featured with a few teaser clips that followed the release of some rather dismal poster marketing. But, Stephen Chbosky's coming of age film was more intriguing. Give someone famous a microphone and a popcorn laden statue and hilarity is bound to ensue. Get More: MTV Shows Russell Brand hosted the show and opened with a monologue that featured digs at Justin Bieber, Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Charlie Sheen [...] As much as I can only stomach Edward Norton in 'Fight Club,' I think I might actually buy him in this movie. Jeremy Renner stars in the offshoot of the Matt Damon Bourne saga based on Robert Ludlum's novels.
