So I have been talking about the fact I have been tossing around the idea of having a child. Then I get this e-mail on Facebook.
Odd question from a stranger I know….

You mentioned recently that you are considering having a baby and going the sperm bank route…. I am writing to see if you are interested in some sort of arrangement with me to raise a child NOT a relationship with ME but a way that I can carry on my family name and history. Also so the child can have a father and a mother in their life. I have considered adoption, getting a surrogate, but one would not be my blood, and the other would leave a child with no knowledge of their mother (should the surrogate use a donated egg)
