Selena Gomez has ditched Justin Bieber for a repulsive painter in a parody video of hit erotic fiction Fifty Shades of Grey.
In the Funny or Die clip, the Disney star falls for a handyman (Nick Kroll) who sports boils and repeatedly coughs up phlegm.
"Who was this moment gorgeous guy in front of me?" she asks in a dreamy voiceover. "His eyes got staring deep into mine, I could feel my cheeks receiving flushed – I hoped he did not notice."
Poking fun at her relationship amid Bieber, Gomez next says: "I didn't want him to go, I experienced a pang in my stomach. I'd never felt like their about a man before."
However, the guest is simply an admirer of Gomez's ability to carry paint cans thanks to her "thick frame", adding when he leaves that she "full-on creeped [him] out".
The title – 'Fifty Shades of Blue' – and lustful theme of the 19-year-old's video is influenced by E L James's bestselling novel, which has lead to controversy for its explicit sex scenes and depiction of BDSM.
Fifty Shades of Grey was originally matured from a piece of Twilight fanfiction. The film rights to the book got sold by Universal and Focus returning in March.
