Justin Bieber and Usher have been together since many years and share a bonding which is a prime example of how a mentor-disciple relationship should evolve. Bieber, an ardent fan of Usher since his childhood spoke high of him in an interview for the Billboard magazine.
Infact Scooter Braun, manager of Justin Bieber spotted Justin on You Tube with covering Chris Brown's 'With You'. But as a matter of fact the now 18 year old pop icon shot to fame after Usher himself saw his talent later on. It was Usher who was instrumental in encouraging Scooter Braun to sign Bieber up without any hesitation. Justin exploded the pop scene genre with his first song with Usher 'One More Time', and since then has never looked back. Both have also sung the platinum hit song 'Somebody To Love' along with the song 'First Dance' and also seen together performing in numerous concerts.
Both Justin Bieber and Usher shared their experiences of being together in the interview. Speaking about his 33 year old mentor Justin said, "He takes me back to Michael Jackson, but also Fred Astaire and all these other people that I probably would've never looked up. And Usher's always told me, 'You need to work hard, but also play hard. Strive to be the best, but have fun doing it. What's great is that in Usher, I have a mentor that's been doing it so long and has been successful in everything that he's done. He's made some mistakes, too, but he's learned from them, so he can tell me what to do and what not to do."
The 'Baby' singer is always striving hard to give his fans as much information as he can through social media like Twitter. Being in touch with the fans has not only helped Justin grow an enormous fan base but it also helps him understand about what his fans would like him to do. Speaking in the interview Justin said, "I don't want to lose my young fans, but I also want to mature and develop. I always keep one foot out of my comfort zone, trying new things and experimenting — if you don't, people will get bored. Seeing the smiles on people's faces and how I affect them when I perform makes me want to give them the absolute best experience they can possibly get."
Usher too had praises for Justin. He added, "I'm happy that Justin knows that without me even saying that. You really do want to make sure that you bring along fans that have always been there, but make sure that you grow and chart new territory."
Keeping up with his tweets, Justin has his fans on the edge of the seats all the time. His latest tweet was about the promise of more info about his forthcoming 'Believe' tour. He said: "#BELIEVEtour announcements this month…stay tuned." And then added: "back to rehearsal".
