Let the shrieking begin! MuchMusic announced yesterday on a special episode of
NEW.MUSIC.LIVE., a heavy-hittin' all-Canadian line up of global chartbusting performers for the 2012 MUCHMUSIC VIDEO AWARDS. Calling in to NML to announce his own attendance, Canadian superstar and MMVA nominee,
Justin Bieber will drop a sonic boom at Much HQ in Toronto.
Also confirmed to light up the stage is JUNO and Grammy®-winning global phenomenon, record producer and actress
Nelly Furtado. Additional performers set to rock the block are singer-songwriter sensation
Carly Rae Jepsen and pop/rock band
Marianas Trench. These MMVA UR FAVE performers join previously announced electro-pop 2012 MMVA co-hosts and performers,
LMFAO, and global pop superstar performer,
Katy Perry.
The 2012 MMVAs get down on Sunday, June 17 at 9 p.m. ET, on Much in Canada and Fuse in the U.S. , with the MMVAs RE D CARPET SPECIAL at 8 p.m. ET in both countries.
