Justin Bieber held a free concert in Oslo, Norway this week and his crazed fans have taken Bieber fever to a whole new level. The concert was held at the Opera House in Oslo and tens of thousands of fans gathered outside just to get a glimpse of The Biebs. Some of the photos show young girls truly hysterical. There was concern for safety because Justin went to his Twitter account to defuse the situation and make sure people followed police orders to prevent injury and threats to safety. Is this what you call a Bieber state of emergency? Check out some pics from the concert including some of the hysterical fans.
To prevent things from getting out of control Norwegian authorities reached out to Bieber to help him control the masses before things turned ugly. I think they were quite concerned about potential riots in Oslo and wanted to create an orderly, peaceful gathering.
Biebs tweeted, "NORWAY – please listen to the police. I dont want anyone getting hurt. I want everything to go to plan but your safety must come first…" and "…for the show to happen u must all listen to the police. we are all concerned for your safety and i want what is best for u. please listen."

It constantly fascinates me to see the kind of fan hysteria that pop stars like Justin Bieber generate. He truly is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, star on the planet right now, so it makes sense that young fans could lose control when seeing him live in a free concert. Thankfully I don't think it was a real state of emergency and everything went off smoothly and safely. Justin's show was part of his "Around The World" TV special. He said that he would be performing 6 songs, 4 new and 2 old ones in Oslo, and by all accounts, the show was a big hit. Here are some pics from the concert in Oslo.
