She did it! She may have failed to get a magazine deal for photos during her pregnancy but less than a month after she gave birth to daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson, singer-actress Jessica Simpson made the cover of this week's 'PEOPLE' magazine.
In the exclusive cover story, Jessica (31) reveals that "life has completely changed" for her and her fiancé Eric Johnson after she gave birth to Maxwell, on May 1.
"From how I sleep to what I think about, Maxwell has definitely taken over everything!"
Aww cute! And Jessica Simpson fans will no doubt be interested (jealous?) to know that breastfeeding Maxwell has become a "full-on job." But still she is reluctant to accept the help with that as she is enjoying the bonding experience of nursing.
"It's the worst if I have to pump and give Eric a bottle to give her," she said. "I miss holding her and having that closeness." On May 1, Jessica gave birth to Maxwell Drew, who weighed in at 9 lbs. 13 oz., and measured 21 3/4 in, having finally gone public with her pregnancy on Halloween.
Afterwards, Jessica was pretty vocal about the trials of pregnancy and that has continued after the baby's birth, with her Tweeting her experiences as a new mom, saying,
"I am so in love with baby Maxwell … Motherhood is by far the best thing I've ever experienced."
