On May 22nd, Diaz was interviewed about her latest role in the new hit movie, What to Expect When You're Expecting, and she now "definitely" wants children.
When Diaz was 37-years-old, she seemed hesitant to speak of having children, claiming that she was "still young." She also stated: "I have an unbelievable life. In some ways I have the life that I have because I don't have children."
How times have changed for Diaz over the past few years. But for Diaz, the clock is not ticking—or so she believes. "Personally, I don't feel pressure to have a baby. This is my life, and I believe that every life should have a purpose, but our society tries to push women into thinking that their only purpose is to have a child and I don't believe that's the case. I think that a lot of women fall under that pressure and they have children before they're ready."
