The Big Bang Theory's Jim Parsons just a had a big bang of his own–literally! He officially has confirmed he's gay!
The news was revealed Wednesday in a New York Times profile when the actor was interviewed for his role n the Broadway revival of "Harvey."
Toward the end, the story explains why one of Jim's previous theatrical roles made him perfect for the part saying, "'The Normal Heart' resonated with him on a few levels: Mr. Parsons is gay and in a 10-year relationship, and working with an ensemble again onstage was like nourishment."
Though the actor has never denied his sexuality, and even thanked his long time partner when accepting a 2010 Emmy, it's kind of like one of those things where it's not really true until someone says it out loud.
Well, we're glad someone said it!
